Event traffic detection using heterogenous wireless sensors network[Full-Text ]
Fadoua NEJJARI, Laila BENHLIMA, Slimane BAHDeaths due to traffic accidents is a major problem in several countries principally because of the fact that emergency actions are not provided at the place of accident at required time, Basically, in the event of a road accident, a real time traffic accident detection system can intelligently inform the site of accident, reporting it to the proper authorities, informing about the number of injured people so that the type and the amount of emergency services needed can be provided. This paper aims to introduce an approach to the traffic event detection, especially in highways, by the means of heterogeneous WSNs (using unmanned aerial vehicles called UAVs, vehicular sensors, smartphones and ground WSNs). The work includes a system overview and the proposed event detection approach.

Petri net extension for traffic road modelling[Full-Text ]
Youness Riouali, Laila Benhlima, Slimane BahTraffic flow modelling is an essential step for designing and controlling the transportation systems. It is not only necessary for improving safety and transportation efficiency, but also it can yield economic and environmental benefits. Consider the discrete and continuous aspects of traffic flow dynamics, hybrid Petri nets have proved to be a powerful tool for approaching this dynamics and describe the vehicle behavior accurately since they include both aspects. A new extension of hybrid petri net is presented in this paper for generalizing the traffic flow modelling through taking into account state dependencies on external rules which can be timed and also nondeterministic time such as stop sign or priority roads. Moreover, a segmentation of roads is proposed to deal with the accurate localization of events.

Network Architecture of Smart Metering basing on Zigbee Sensors Network[Full-Text ]
A.EL khantach, M.Hamlich, N.BelbounaguiyaIntelligence in electrical network refers to the capacity to watch and to control diverse industrial devices in order to supply the optimal power production. The control and the acquisition of the data resulting from various sensors are made from SCADA via communication infrastructures throughout the power supply railing.

Convolution algorithm for implementing 2D Discrete Wavelet Transform on the FPGA[Full-Text ]
I.SLIMANI, A.ZAARANE, A.HAMDOUNNowadays, the two dimensional discrete wavelet transform 2D-DWT has become a very important tool in the field of image processing. Several architectures for implementing DWT are proposed. In this paper we present an architecture for implementing the DWT based on the convolution algorithm. This implementation is fully described in VHDL and implemented in an FPGA component.

Big Data for Supply Chain Management: Opportunities and Challenges[Full-Text ]
Abla CHAOUNI BENABDELLAH, Asmaa BENGHABRIT, Imane BOUHADDOU, El Moukhtar ZEMMOURI, LM2I Laboratory, ENSAM MeknesFor modern industry, data generated by machines and devices, product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, production planning systems or quality and inventory management systems has reached a volume of more than a thousand Exabyte annually and is expected to increase in the next years. This has led to the need of “Big Data” technologies to store, manage, process, interpret, and visualize such amount of data. This paper outlines the value that Big Data offers for supply chains that are increasingly complex.

Towards a Framework for Customer Emotion Detection[Full-Text ]
Moulay Smail Bouzakraoui, Abdelalim SADIQ, Nourddine EnneyaAutomated analysis of human affective behavior has attracted increasing attention from researchers in psychology neuroscience, linguistics, computer science and related disciplines. Nowadays, emotional factors are important as classic functional aspects of customer purchasing behavior. Recent studies have shown that most of our purchasing choices and decisions are the result of a careful analysis of the product advantages and disadvantages and of affective and emotional aspects. Psychological literature recognizes that the emotional conditions are always present and influence every stage of decision-making in purchasing process.

The Collaborative relevance in the distributed information retrieval[Full-Text ]
Adil ENAANAI, Aziz SDIGUI DOUKKALI, Ichrak SAIF, Hicham MOUTACHAOUIK, Mustapha HAINRelevance is one of the most interesting topics in the information retrieval domain. In this paper, we introduce another method of relevance calculation. We propose to use the implicit opinion of users to calculate relevance. The Implicit judgment of users is injected to the documents by calculating different kinds of weighting. These latter touch several criteria like as user’s weight in the query’s words, user’s profile, user’s interest, document’s content and the document popularity. In this method, each user is an active element of the system, he searches documents and he makes treatments to provide relevant information to other users in the Network. This is similar as the peer-to-peersystems; unlikethat, an element (user) have tomanage automatically his data by creating a short view model of his most visited documents, and calculates his relative relevance about each one. The relative relevance is variable according each user, so the final relevance is calculated by the averaging of the elementary relevance of all users. Hence, the name of collaborativerelevance.
