Artificial neural network (ANN) is an assembly or nexus of interconnected processing elements or nodes whose functionality can be compared to the human brain. This ability is achieved by adaption and learning from existing patterns and using the learned pattern to detect and predict the next similar pattern in future occurrence and activity. In this project, neural network system was developed for detecting and tracking the source of cyber- attacks using selected ports in which cyber data is fed into the system.

This multilevel inverter for the grid interface of permanent magnet synchronous generator. Currently, DFIG based variable speed wind turbine technology with gearbox is dominating the world market share. However, the problems associated with IG based wind turbines paper presents a wind energy conversion system based on a neutral-point clamped are reactive power consumption, mechanical stress and poor power quality. Moreover, the gearbox requires regular maintenance as it suffers from faults and malfunctions. PMSG based wind turbines are; gearless operation, higher efficiency, enhanced reliability, smaller size, reduced cost and low losses.

Effect of Media Properties on Performance of Sand Filtration for Drain Water Treatment[ ]


In an attempt to improve the quality of the agricultural drain in Egypt for its reuse again in the irrigation, low cost solution such as sand filter along with/ without other filtration media have been used in this research, As a result of that, pilot plant of sand filter mixed with other filtration media was tested for its ability to improve the sand performance in removing the suspended solids and organic matters from agricultural drain water of the Belbeis drain (in Sharkia governorate in Egypt).

The roads construction projects in Uganda are experiencing delays which are partly due to challenges in land acquisition. The purpose of this study was to assess the challenges and effects of delays in land acquisition on the performance of Uganda’s roads construction projects, a case of Mbale-Bumbobi-Bubulo-Lwakhakha. Eighteen (18) land acquisition processes, twenty-nine (29) challenges and eighteen (18) feasible strategies were identified through comprehensive literature reviews drawn from land acquisition practices in various countries.

PRELIMINARY SURVEY OF DERMATOPHILUS CONGLENSIS INFECTION IN CAMELS SLAUGHTERED IN SOKOTO ABATTOIR[ ]


This study was carried out to determine the occurrence of Dermatophilus congolensis and other associated bacteria on skin lesions of camel suspected to be dermatophilosis. Skin samples obtained from fifty camels were processed for bacteriological culture and identification. In this study, sixteen samples 16 (16%) were positive for Dermatophilus congolensis, while 34 (84%) were negative. Both D. congolensis positive and negative samples were processed for isolation of other bacteria.

A research experiment was conducted in Arghakhanchi district of Nepal during April to May, 2019 in greenhouse to evaluate the effect of different growth medium on seed vigor characteristics of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) cv. Gaurav-555. The growth mediums used were farmyard manure, vermi-compost, bio-bacterial compost, coco peat and control (soil). This experiment was contrived in Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four replications and five treatments.

Servo and DC Motor Control using Desktop Application[ ]


In this paper, our main aim is to automate servo and dc motors using desktop application for industrial automation. Here we have designed a desktop application using python and interfaced the application with the microcontroller. As microcontroller, Arduino Uno ATMEGA328P/ Mega 2560 has been used to automate servo and dc motors. These motors have wide application in industry where robotic arm or conveyer belts are used in the production unit. This application reduces human efforts and the accuracy in production can be enhanced.

Toxicopathological effects of moldy feed in commercial white leghorn layers and its amelioration with milk thistle seed[ ]


The current experiment was conducted to study the toxic pathological effects of moldy feed and it’s amelioration by concurrent dietary incorporation of MTS against mycotoxins in white leghorn hens (WLH). For this purpose, a total of one hundred, 40 weeks old WLH were randomly divided into five groups i.e. A, B, C, D and E with each group containing 20 hens. Group B received moldy feed containing ochratoxin A 56 microgram/kg and aflotoxin B1 136 microgramg/kg, groups C to E were kept on moldy feed with different concentrations of MTS i.e., 0.5%, 1% and 2.0% respectively, while group A served as a negative control.
