Prevalence of Flat Foot and high arch foot among undergraduate physical therapy students by using Navicular Drop test[Full-Text ] Dr. Tariq Ashraf, Dr. Muhammad Asif, Dr. Shazia Abdul Hamid Khalfe,Dr.Hafiza Ambreen Mehmood, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Farrag, Dr. Muhammad Faisal QureshiFlatfoot is defined as depressed or lack of medial longitudinal arch, along with a valgus heel or not, rather than as a diagnosis of the hidden root cause. This account for diseased or non-diseased, rigid or flexible, and painful or pain free status. Flexible flatfoot in most cases is a physiological variant rather than a pathological condition. It encounters almost all new born and is frequently found in kids and youth. In reality the medial longitudinal arch formulates during the first 10 years of life. Many precipitating factors play important role in flexible flatfoot, together with hereditary, widespread ligamentous slackness, increased BMI in addition to type of shoe- wearing in early infancy.

Modeling of a cylindro-parabolic solar collector and simulation by Matlab software[Full-Text ] E. Al Ibrahmi, S. E Lachhab, F. Hamdaoui, I. El Amrani, A. Achhar and L. DlimiThe objective of this study is the use of a cylindro-parabolic solar concentrator in the transformation of solar energy into thermal energy. The reflector and the absorber used have a specific geometrical shape of 2m in length, 2cm in thickness and 6cm in width. A mathematical approach is made by the MATLAB software, of which we simulated a theoretical calculation applied to the dimension proposed to the system studied[12]. The parameters studied in the form of the equations in our simulation are the inlet and outlet temperature in the heat coolant fluid, the absorber and glass temperature, the irradiation flux, and the tilt factor[4].This study also aims at the modeling of the heat transfer of a cylindrical-parabolic solar collector with the values of daily sunshine in Morocco. In addition, we have studied more particularly the solar energy which makes it possible to recover the heat of this solar radiation within a fluid [1-2].The results obtained by this simulation show a good correlation between the experimental curves by the dimensioned system and the theoretical values in the bibliography[8].

A Generic Framework for Evaluating Academic Performance (FEAP) in Nigerian Higher Institutions of Learning[Full-Text ] A. S. Ahmadu, S. Boukari, E. J. Garba, A. Y. GitalEducational Data Mining is emerging as a tool for structuring and storage of academic records of students in a form that is adaptive for evaluation, predicting failure or success or discovering factors that are responsible for performance using the concept learned from the massive accumulated database. Experiments have shown that no single machine learning scheme is appropriate to all data mining problems (Witten and Frank, 2005). We have modelled a generic Framework for Evaluating Academic Performance (FEAP) with its various components which can be used with any of the following recommended algorithms: Logistics Regression, Decision Tree, Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis (WEKA), Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Decision Support Systems, SQL, and Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD). We have also design an algorithm for the selection of candidates for admission which is part of the Human Leaning (HL) functionality.

Focused Crawling Using Content Classification and Link Priority Estimation[Full-Text ] Shwetanshu Rohatgi, Sabarni KunduFocused crawlers are used to crawl and index web pages that are specific to a given topic but due to this sheer amount of web pages and data generally, a large part of data gets ignored and various anchor tags are never indexed. In order to solve such problems, we propose an improved crawling technique by dividing current challenges into two modules and conquering them individually. We introduce a new weighing factor based on content blocks and mutual information to obtain relevant web pages. Further, we propose the use of Context graphs and content block partition technique in order to find relevant web links by using link priority calculator (LPC) based on cosine similarity. This paper illustrates experimentally that our focused crawler is better than other focused crawlers based on breadth-first, anchor text only and link-context only partition in terms of target recall. In conclusion, our proposed system is effective and efficient for focused crawling.

Micro-strip Patch Antenna Design[Full-Text ] Muhammad AbubakarSiddiqWith the rapid evolution of mobile communications, broadband antennas for multisystem are in great need. The demand for small and mobile communication devices, especially the RFID, has grown rapidly. Devices having internal antenna is a trend and is required for such applications. But, antenna size is a major factor that limits device miniaturization. To decrease the size, antenna design is based on micro strip and can be embedded into the RFID tag. However, reducing antenna size generally degrades antenna performance. The advancement of the technology has given birth to a lot of mobile communication standards. The increasing demand for higher data rates continues in wireless technology enabling wireless data, voice, and video applications at multigigabit speeds has recently been attracting much interest in both academic and industry. Thus, the bandwidth of the antenna is very important for high data rate transmission.
