Asbestos, which is a material traditionally used for this purpose is harmful to health. Since then, we have been looking for an alternative solution in a context where the automotive industry is becoming increasingly demanding.

Synthesis, Characterisation and Cure behaviour of Phenol - Crotoaldehyde Resins[ ]


Phenol- crotonadehyde (PC) resins with varying mole ratio of phenol to crotonaldehyde were synthesised by base catalyst. The PC resins were characterised by physic-chemical methods. PC resin presumably undergo both addition and condensation reactions. However, the gel time data of Table 2 were interpreted to show that the rate of polymerization varies with the reactant ratio.

The convergence of any method is too important to mobilize it. In this work, the analysis of convergence of the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) is confabulated for different linear and non-linear equations i.e. integral equations, differential equations, and initial value problems. The order and accuracy of ADM are a contest. In the applications of ADM, the method is exploited to solve the Heat and Wave equation to authenticate the accuracy and rapid convergence of ADM.

Perceived High School Students’ Attribution of Academic Success and Failure in East Gojjam Zone[ ]


The aim of this study was to examine causal attribution of academic achievement among the nine selected high school students in East Gojjam Zone. A descriptive survey design was employed to describe the attribution of students for their academic success and failure. Total sample sizes of 452 were selected from the study population. The samples were selected using simple random sampling and proportional stratified sampling techniques.

Effects of Corporate Restructuring on Competitive Advantage of Listed Commercial Banks in Nigeria[ ]


This study is based on the topic effect of corporate restructuring on the competitive advantage of listed commercial banks in Nigeria and secondary data were used and sourced from the official annual financial reports of the selected listed commercial banks on the Nigerian stock exchange from 2015 to 2018, the study employed the descriptive research methodology. The purposive sampling technique was used to select a sample of seven listed commercial banks in Nigeria based on the best performing banks determined by ranking using market capitalization, current market price of shares, trade volume, firm growth rate and return on equity.

Opposition to Islamic Banking and Finance by Religious Forces in Pakistan[ ]


This paper explores whether religious scholars and Islamic political parties favor or oppose Islamic banking in Pakistan. It uses self-administered survey data and employs descriptive and logistic regression analysis. The key findings reveal that religious scholars are divided into proponents, opponents, neutral groups and the Shari'a consistency of paradigm is not supported by majority of religious scholars on the basis of its practices in Pakistan.

Biosorption of Hg2+ ions by Sulphonated biomass of Stalks of Prunuscerasus[ ]


The biosorption of Hg2+ ions by Sulphonated biomass of Stalks of Prunuscerasusis carried out in batch conditions. The effect of different parameters such as contact time, sorbent dose, pH and temperature has been carried out. The kinetic study of biosorption results shows that sorption process is well explained by pseudo–second order model with determination coefficients higher than 0.94for sorbent under all experimental conditions.

ANALYTICAL METHOD VALIDATION REPORT FOR QUANTITATIVE ESTIMATION OF AMETOCTACTRADIN BY HPLC METHOD[ ]


A simple, selective, precise and accurate high performance liquid chromatographic method for the analysis of Ametoctactradin in its formulations was developed and validated in the present study. The mobile phase consists of a mixture of methanol and water in the proportion 70: 30 (v/v) respectively This was found to give sharp peak of Ametoctactradin at a run time of 15 min. HPLC analysis of Ametoctactradin was carried out at a wave length of 294 nm with a flow rate of 1.0mL/min.

Previous studies concluded that piping resistance of soil increases when various natural or artificial fibers are mixed.Hence, In this project an effort is made to use profusely available, natural waste Human Hair Fibres (HHF) as soil reinforcements and the effect of the same when discretely and randomly distributed on the piping behavior of soil are examined.
