Review of the Present State-of-the-Art of Dynamic Test Reconfiguration of Composite Web Services[Full-Text ] Sirisha K L S, Dr. M. Chandra Mohan, V. Santosh KumarIn the wake of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and its applications that integrated services provided by different businesses, reliability of services play a vital role in the success of those businesses. Testing is the widely accepted approach used to find reliability of services. Testing web services that are composed to form SOA applications is non-trivial and hard to achieve. Web services with BPEL workflow drive most of the businesses that affect all stakeholders. Building comprehensive test strategies for cohesiveness of underlying components and loosely coupled nature of integrated heterogeneous pieces of software is very challenging. Moreover business processes tend to change that makes the job of testing much more complex. Many researchers contributed towards testing of web services. In this paper we review the present state-of-the-art of web service composition methods, testing web services, automatic test case generating and automatic test case reconfiguration. This paper provides insights found in the literature in terms of test methodologies, tools and techniques used for testing web services and web service compositions.

Stabilization of Subgrade Pavement Layer Using Silica Fume and Nano Silica[Full-Text ] Abdelzaher E. A. Mostafa, Mohamed. S. Ouf and Mokhtar F. ElgendyMany investigations have been carried out on clay subgrade soil; using several types of stabilizers. Due to the increase in traffic loads and the importance of subgrade layer in strengthen the pavement section to prevent the earlier damage. In this study the first step (based on the designed experimental program) samples were prepared with and without any additives; the used additives were lime (L), silica fume (SF), and nanosilica (NS). The tried percentages of lime were 2, 4, 6 and 8% and 5, 10 and 15% for SF, while 1, 2 and 3% used for NS. The second step was to examine the physical and mechanical properties of the prepared mixes using modified proctor test, Atterberg limits test, free swelling (FS%) test, unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests. Finally, direct shear (DS) test was carried out on the optimum mixes from the second step. All mixes were tested after two curing periods 7 and 28 days using UCS and FS%. The results indicated that the optimum moisture content (OMC) increased, while the maximum dry density (MDD) dramatically decreased for all used additives and plasticity index (P.I) decreased. The FS% decreased, and the maximum reduction in FS% was occurred at the two combinations (8% L + 15% SF) and (8%L+3%NS). The UCS increased by adding both SF and NS activated by lime to the test soil , and the optimum percentages of the two combinations were occurred at 6%L+10%SF and 6%L+3%NS for traditional and nanomaterials additives respectively. So, control samples and the two optimum combinations have been prepared for CBR and DS tests. The DS test was carried out at dry and submerged conditions, while CBR test was carried out at soaked condition. The results indicated that the maximum value of CBR occurred at 8% L + 10% SF, while DS results indicated that adding 6L+10SF and 6L+3NS, the soil parameters (cohesion and internal friction angle) have been improved.

Quality Improvement in Finished Cold Rolled Sheet by reducing the defect[Full-Text ] Ranjan Prakash, Baidya Nath RoyAs manufacturing speed increases in the steel industry, fast and exact product inspection becomes more important. This project deals with defect detection and classification algorithm for cold rolled coil along with minimization of those defects by adopting some suitable corrective action during the process of manufacturing. We can enhance an acquired image by use of a special subtractive method and find the position of defect using local entropy and morphology. Practically the all defects in cold rolling inspected before dispatching the material to the customer at skin pass mill. R&C Inspection wings generally focused over four “S” i.e. Shape, Size, Surface and Safety during their inspection. Cold rolling improves the surface finish and holds tighter tolerances. This will certainly affect the quality of product in terms of high production, since they are critical. This will also increases the product evolution in the opened market. Better coordination among quality and production will help in achieving greater efficiency to produce high quality cold rolled sheet.

A Novel Technique for Digital Watermarking using DWT and Neural Network[Full-Text ] Mrs.Nirupma Tiwari, Dr. Naveen Hemrajani, Dr. Dinesh GoyalDigital watermarking (DW) is a technology that hides information in image to provide authentication. Information hiding is done by the tam-pering content of the image. In this research, self image embedding using two level discrete wavelet transform (2DWT) with singular value decomposition (SVD),and probabilistic neural network (PNN) classifier method. Firstly, take cover image and create watermark image using bi-cubic interpolation method.Secondly, encrypt watermark image using stream cipher (SC) method. Thirdly, the watermarking embedding region is directed with 2DWT and the low frequency DWT coefficient is isolated into non-covering pieces; SVD is connected to each block. A bit of the watermark is inserted through slight alterations of the singular quality (SV) framework in every block. The resulting analysis shows that proposed algorithm offers better image quality and more robustness under geometrical attack (GA), compression attack (CA) and noise attack (NA). Lastly, classify the watermarked image using PNN classifier. The resulting analysis shows that proposed algorithm offers better image quality and more robustness under copy move forgery attack. Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and L2 Normalization (L2Norm) are evaluated to find image quality and robustness. Finally, a comparative study is made against the previous technique.

Harvesting Biomechanical Energy Using Pedal Power and Solar Power (Pedaller)[Full-Text ] Sai Neeraj PandariThe current needs of the society can be answered by the engineer’s for the benefit of the society are alternative energy production, energy conservation, safety, security and helping aids. A “lack of exercise is worse for health than being obese”, The Daily Telegraph has reported. To address this problem, equipment called pedaller is designed. It uses the biomechanical energy produced by a human, and occupies just a foot space. It is specially designed for people who work for 8-10 hours on their desks. They can exercise for a couple of hours using the pedaller which could be used to power an appliance such as their mobile phone, table lamp or even a laptop. The alternative energy sources employed were pedal power and solar power. Pedal power is the transfer of energy from a human physical source (Bio energy) and Solar power is the conversion of sunlight (natural) into electricity.

Synthesis of Magnetic Exfoliated graphene via one pot Electroless Chemical Deposition method[Full-Text ] Abdur Rauf, Syed Sohail Ahmad Shah, Azim Khan, Syed Awais Ahmad Shah, Khadija tul kubra, Akbar Ali, and Khalid H. Thebo. A chemical two-step approach, based on the hydrothermal technique, has been developed to synthesize Fe2O3 nanoparticles-decorated graphene. Exfoliated graphene (xG) were purified by acidic treatment, sensitized to attach functional groups. FeCl3, xGand NaoH were used as a precursor. The reaction temperature of the formation of Fe2O3-Graphene was 155 ?C. The structural and compositional analysis, morphologies and magnetic properties of the sample were carried out via using different analytical techniques. The formation of maghemite Fe2O3 nanocomposites was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy and value stream mapping (VSM). The particle size of Fe2O3 nanoparticles loaded on graphene (as observed from TEM) was found to be smaller than 20 nm. The VSM plot of the sample is a straightforward evidence of the presence of super paramagnetic Iron Oxide nanoparticles. The maghemite Fe2O3 decorated graphene is considered to be a competent material for microwave absorption as well as energy storage devices.

How Scandals Affect Our Society and the Role of Government: Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi Scheme[Full-Text ] Abdullah AlsitrawiThe amount that investors usually receive after discovering the crime is only a small fraction of their investments. Unfortunately, the investors put their trust on companies and believe they can generate high returns claiming that the investment is safe and guaranteed. Many of the investors lack the knowledge and experience about these activities and most of them are senior citizens who dream that they can wisely invest their pensions and receive the highest return. Although the high return is linked to high risk, those people only focus on the dream of being wealthy in a short period of time. As a result, crimes occur and unethical people work hard to steal others who may not have another source of money.

Improvement of sintering and magnetic properties of nanocrystalline Mn-Zn ferrites[Full-Text ] K.E. RadyThe effect of sintering temperature on the formation of Mn-Zn ferrites in a single phase cubic spinel structure has been investigated. Samples of general chemical formula Mn1-xZnxFe2O4, (0.0 = x = 0.5) were prepared using standard ceramic technique. The obtained results show that 1300oC for 15h with heating rate 2oC/min are suitable conditions for the preparation of Mn-Zn ferrites. The effect of the double final sintering and Zn2+ ions concentration on the physical properties of Mn-Zn ferrite was also investigated. XRD data confirm the formation of the samples in single phase cubic spinel structure. The crystallite size (t) of samples was estimated by Scherrer's formula and found in the range (90-115 nm). Energy dispersion X-ray analysis (EDX) was used for the elemental analysis of the prepared samples. Magnetization of the samples was measured using Faraday's method as a function of temperature at magnetic field 1300Oe. The Curie temperature of the prepared samples was found to be decreases with increasing Zn2+ion. The hysteresis parameters such saturation magnetization Ms and coercivity Hc of the prepared samples were measured at room using vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). An improvement in the physical properties of Mn-Zn ferrite was observed due to the preparation conditions compared with the published data.

The Effects of Free Trade on Domestic and Infant Industries[Full-Text ] Sultan GashgariArguments have been made whether the advantages of free trade outweigh the disadvantages and the vice versa. This study explores both the positive and negative effects of free trade using relevant and pertinent examples by various industries in different countries. Free trade is a practice where international markets eliminate barriers to trade such as taxes and tariffs. It has been widely urged that free trade adversely affects domestic and infant industries. It introduces unfair competition as the already established foreign industry has an advantage when it comes to resources, market power, and experience. Free trade also leads to lose of jobs when infant and local industries are stifled and finally close down due to losses or stagnant economic position. On the other hand, free trade creates competition that leads to improvement of the quality of products and services at better prices. North American Free Trade Agreement and the European Economic Area are the major free trade agreements widely known. The US decision to set up an auto-assembly plant in Mexico was a bold move as it created job opportunities for the local. The American auto makers competes with the Japanese automakers industry enabling Japanese improve the quality of their automobiles, and the impact of Chinese bicycle industry on the US bicycle manufacturing industry are some of the examples deeply discussed in the study. They show the real life impact of free trade on local and infant industries. The study also discusses measures taken by a country to combat a particular situation as a result of free trade to protect the local and young industries. Different arguments by various economists on the effects of free trade on domestic and infant industry are also explored to bring out the real situation clearly.

Investigating the Orientation of Sugar Industries and Practice of Industrial Relocation for Sugar Industries in Kolhapur District[Full-Text ] P. T. Patil, K. C. RamotraThe location analysis helps us to describe the economic activities on space and the selection of a future location for an activity. The present investigation is very necessary to comprehend the benefits of existing industrial location of sugar industries in terms of Weber’s Material Index and to compute and suggest some measures for the relocation of industries, which can give optimum returns. There is a need to apply relocation strategies for the sugar co-operatives in Kolhapur district. Because in last five years more than two factories were closed down due to the illness (low and non-profitable production) and later on converted into the private factory. At current situation, few factories are facing the problem of low recovery in the assessment year. Particularly, the Harali factory has 11.81 % recovery rate, consequently, their final instalment in last year is below Rs. 2600/-. Thus, farmers in these areas were facing the problems. It is not only the great recovery rate influences the sugar-cane purchase rate. But, if these factories are concentrated more on the production of by-products of sugar-cane such as Molasses, Bagasse, Phospo and Organic Fertilizers Production and Sales, Distillery, etc. then they are able to achieve benefits and offer good sugar-cane purchase rate.

Inclusive Assessment of SQL Database And MongoDB Database With Latest Evaluation[Full-Text ] Mohd Muntjir, Mohd Junedul Haque, Dr.Hussain Abu SorrahThe relation of memory to the genuine assumed speed of a computer is constantly going to be a bit imprecise, as so many other aspects manage it. Since decades, one of the most deeply needed and trustworthy things upon functionality of computers has been the memory of a Computer System. However the technical descriptions and the implementation approaches may contrast, most computers these days have the essential hardware to practice information and safe keep it to be used in future as and when essential. Database Management Systems are higher-level software programs that work with lower level application programming interfaces that take care of these processes. To help solving distinctive types of complications, innovative kinds of DBMSs have been established i.e. Relational and NoSQL, etc, along with applications programs implementing them (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc). In this paper we aim at associating both the database options for various operations namely as CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) for small and large or similar datasets and then use this evaluation to resolve which database to use for any particular dataset in the both databases.
