Isolation and characterization of Artocarpus seed polysaccharides[Full-Text ] S Krupa, K. R Siddalinga MurthyPolysaccharides such as galactomannans and starch are found in Artocarpus sp. They are the natural polymers which can be used for the development of the pharmaceutical drug delivery system. The aim of this study was to compare the extraction of polysachharide from the seeds of Artocarpus heterophyllus (jackfruit) and A. hirsutus (wild jack) seeds. The results explained the highest extraction of soluble polysaccharide was achieved using combination of alcohol and alkali. Thus the cheapest method of isolation of pure polysaccharide was explored using the combination of alcohol and alkali. The insoluble polysaccharide was extracted using acid hydrolysis. FTIR method revealed the presence of various functional groups.

The Relevance of Networks and Client-Server Computing in Institutional Development[Full-Text ] Temitope Victor-Ime, Augustine O. UgbariIn the past, centralized computing like IBM mainframe occupied a large market share of the computer business. Large transactions were performed on these centralized mainframes. Years after, micro computers were introduced. These computers were very cheap and fast in processing, that small businesses preferred them. On the flipside, the purchase of the mainframes became slower. Today, this client – server computing is the computing of choice for microcomputers. The corresponding network architecture built around this technology is the wave of the moment.

Challenges of Ecclesiastical Corruption and its Implications for the Contemporary Church in Nigeria[Full-Text ] Ezekiel. A. Adejuwon and Lawrence .A. AdigunCorruption is a serious pandemic ravaging almost all societies across the globe. It has become almost impossible to differentiate between the corrupt acts that have become the normal way of life in many nations and the norms of social, political and religious life. In Nigeria, not only is corruption evident in the public, business and religious sectors, it has become prevalent in the church as well. Ecclesiastical corruption, traced to the Imperial and Papacy era of the Church, seems to be more prominent as the church grew wealthier and became more powerful through the simony, and sales of indulgencies and benefices.

Effect on Air-Fuel Ration of Two Wheeler Vehicle at Higher Altitudes[Full-Text ] Anurag Dixit, Dr. H.K. Rai, Dr. D.K. BhallaTh performance of an internal combustion engine is greatly depend on the air-fuel ratio supplied to the combustion cham-ber.an experimental investigation were carried out to study the reduction of oxygen present in the air at different altitudes. A two wheeler vehicle with PFI injector was used to carry out the experiment. In countries like India the two wheeler vehi-cles are mostly design to run at flat areas but when same vehicle goes at higher altitudes the behaviour of the vehicle chang-es and the driver start facing difficulties in driving as well as in cold start of the vehicle. In this paper some of the factors which gets affected due to change in air-fuel ratio such as emission, knocking, output power and fuel efficiency are men-tioned.

Dog Breed identification using CNN Architecture[Full-Text ] Dr. Kanika Gupta, Sharankhala Goel, Bhavya Aggarwal, Riya GuptaIn this forecourt competition, we are provided a stringently mongrel division of Image Net in order to exercise fine-grained image cataloguing. The dataset contains images of dogs of different breeds. Deep Learning is a technique by which a computer program learns statistical patterns within the data that will enable it to recognize or help us to distinguish between the different breeds of dogs. The model trains itself on the different features based on the images present and represent the data numerically, organizing the data in space. Initially, the image is divided into numerous lattices and a training batch size is set accordingly; then an algorithm is used to split and combine the descriptors, and the channel information of the image is extracted as the input of the convolutional neural network; and finally, we design a convolutional neural network-based to identify the dog species.

WASTE MANAGEMENT AND DRAINAGE WATER PURIFICATION[Full-Text ] Alok R ashok, Clins Thomas, Greeshma Gopi, Smitha kMost water treatment plants (especially large plants) employ coagulation, sedimentation, and filtration processes for water purification. The major sources of wastes are the sedimentation basins and filter backwashes. Alum coagulation sludges, which are high in gelatinous metal hydroxides, comprise large quantities of small particles. These are among the most difficult sludges to handle because of their low settling rate, low permeability to water, and thixotropic characteristics. Generally, about 5% of the treated water is used for washing filters.
