Study and Measurement of Different Parameters of Spontaneous Gas Glow Discharge Plasma in Air[Full-Text ] H.U.Khan, Zafar Ilyas, Ishaq Ahmad, M.Ikram, Mohammad Asghar khan, Fazal Muhammad, Muhammad Waleed RazaThe glow discharges is a unique property for the understanding and measurements of the different parameters of glow formed in an evacuated glass tube, with circular plane disk electrodes at low pressure of air. Glow discharges are used in a large number of application fields. This paper attempts to give an overview of gas discharge plasmas in a broad perspective. In this work, a high dc voltage is passed through the discharge tube at different filling pressure of air. Initially the different pattern of glow formed inside the discharge tube is analyzed.

Econometric Analysis of Remittance Inflow and Economic Growth of Nepal[Full-Text ] Prof. Dr. Tara Prasad Upadhyaya, Prabin AcharyaThe significance of Remittances has been considerable in economic growth via changed in consumption and investment pattern. In such scenario of growing role of Remittance in Nepalese economy the objective of this study is to identify the long run relationship as well as cause and effect relationship between Remittance and GDP in Nepal. Johansen Cointegration test and Granger Causality test have been used to study annual time series data from 1974/75 to 2015/16. The Johansen Cointegration suggests that there is no long run equilibrium relationship between GDP and Remittance. Engle Granger causality test finds that there is uni-directional causality running from Remittance to GDP.

Network Pharmacology Approach for Uncovering the Multiple Mechanisms of Cynomorium songaricum against New Diseases: A Case Study on Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma[Full-Text ] Xiang Zhang, Xiaodong Ren, Rui Zeng, Bashir Ahmad, Linfang HuangCynomorium songaricum is an herbal medicine traditionally used for enhancing kidney function or stimulating immunologic function. However, the new pharmacologic activity of C. songaricum and the exploration of its multiple mechanisms is not well understood. Herein, we reported the chemical compositions of C. songaricum methanol extract by UHPLC-Q-Exactive and literature collection and then performed molecular docking experiments with targets from the RCSB, STITCH and Uniport databases and literature. We adopted a network pharmacology-based strategy and selected ingredients and targets showing better scores than those of the positive drugs for six diseases (oral squamous cell carcinoma [OSCC], HIV, AD, gastric cancer, melanoma and gastric ulcer).

Compressive strength of internal cured concrete using polyethylene glycol[Full-Text ] Noorullah "Zahid"The compressive strength of concrete is one of the most important and useful properties of concrete. In the most structural applications concrete is employed primarily to resist compressive stresses. Compressive strength is also used as a qualitative measure for other properties of hardened concrete. The compressive strength of concrete is influenced by water cement ratio, aggregate cement ratio, properties of aggregates and curing, mixing and testing conditions.

Water retentivity of internal cured concrete using polyethylene glycol[Full-Text ] Noorullah "Zahid"Concrete with poor water retentivity can easily bleed, laminate, and segregate, thus result in bonding improperly and influencing the normal hardening, at the same time decreasing the strength of concrete. The influencing factors of water retentivity are: type and quantity of cementitious material, property of aggregate, water quantity, admixtures, etc.

Import, Export and Economic Growth of Nepal: Empirical Analysis[Full-Text ] Sandip PaudelThis paper aims to explore the relationship between exports, imports, and economic growth of Nepal. To attain this purpose, annual time series data for the periods between financial years 1974/1975 to 2016/2017 were tested using Johansen Cointegration approach, Error Correction Model and Granger Causality test. The result showed that no short-run and long-run relationship running from import and exports to GDP. On the other hand, it was found strong evidence for bidirectional causality between export and economic growth. However, unidirectional causality was found from economic growth to import without any causality between imports to export in long-run. These results suggest exports are the main source of economic growth of Nepal in long run.
