Requirement Traceability for Software Development Lifecycle[Full-Text ]
Sharadha Murugappan,Dr. D. PrabhaTraceability is the ability to verify the history, location, or application of an item by means of documented recorded identification. Traceability includes the capability and implementation of keeping track of a given set or type of information to a given degree, or the ability to chronologically interrelate uniquely identifiable entities in a way that is verifiable. In Software development, the term traceability or Requirements Traceability refers to the ability to link product requirements back to stakeholders' rationales and forward to corresponding design artifacts, code, and test cases. Traceability systems are constituted by univocal identification of units/batches or lots of every product components, information collection about time and location for every batch transfer/transformation, and a method to relate this kind of data. Traceability technique has been proposed based on the four elements in order to manage information on manufacture. The four elements are physical lot integrity, which determines the traceability resolution, collection of tracing and process data, product identification and process linking, and reporting/system data retrieval. Traceability is an attribute of any artifact in a software system. Traceability is referred as the potential for traces to be set up and used. “Requirement traceability (RT) is the most common concept and seems to be mentioned in most literature discussing issues related to traceability of a software system. Requirement traceability refers to the ability to describe and follow the life of a requirement in both a forwards and backwards direction (i.e., from its origins, through its development and specification, to its subsequent deployment and use, and through all periods of on-going refinement and iteration in any of these phases)”. Requirements traceability is intended to ensure continued alignment between stakeholder requirements and various outputs of the system development process.Traceability architecture is sometimes inaccurate and is less efficient. The proposed method provides an efficient way for requirement traceability with better accuracy by using information retrieval techniques like Boolean model, which uses logic expressions, Probabilistic model, which uses set theory and sample space, Vector space model which uses weights to represent queries, Inference network model, which uses nodes to connect the queries and represents queries as concepts or terms.

IVRS based Health care for economically backward[Full-Text ]
Sam Kirubaharan M, Arunkumar S,Sri Kumaran R, Desmond Richard Doss L, Saranya RIndia is producing about 50,000 doctors every year. Besides that, health care in India is still a question. Some of the best-in-class medical resources, including better consultancy are provided by private hospitals which demand more money that poor cannot afford to. Lack of well-qualified doctors and resources are preventing the poor from getting the best-in-class medical facilities available in the country. Amidst that, there are professional practitioners interested in serving the poor. Hospital@Hand tries to connect these service-minded professional doctors to poor people through an efficient and easily accessible medium. This system allows the doctors and patients to medicate and get medicated at their own places without the need to travel. Doctors can access a sophisticated web app to connect with the patient, which they are comfortable with. On the other hand, the targeted poor patients do not have provision to access the Internet. So, in this project we use their basic featured mobile phones to access simple and toll-free IVR system. Doctors can communicate with the patient through simple SMS and voice calls. Hospital@Hand encourages the patient to monitor their health regularly. Most of us have the tendency to care for our health only after reaching a severe stage. This is more predominant among the economically backward community. Our system engages the patient regularly, reminding them to care for their health.

NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING USING PYTHON[Full-Text ]
Vismaya V,Darvin Reynald JThis paper focuses on a simplified Natural Language Processing (NLP) system using Python and Raspberry Pi. Natural language processing systems have been used in a wide range of tech industries ranging from medical, defense, consumer, corporate. Most NLP systems used currently requires a subsidiary processing hardware and a default OS. The system proposed in this paper is a standalone NLP system which is open source and can be accessed in remote locations using a simple hardware component. The processes including voice extraction, speech to text conversion, text processing and database management and speech synthesis have been explained in detail along with the python modules used to build the system. By minimizing the hardware components and using open source software, a universal, adaptable NLP system has been proposed.

SMART GARBAGE BIN[Full-Text ]
C. Poongodi, M.Kowsalya,S.NaveenKumar, H.KavibharathiNowadays, in our city we see that the garbage bins placed in public places are overloaded due to the increasing wastes. In many places the dustbins are not cleaned in proper time. It creates the unhygienic problems,land pollution and also create the uneasiness to the surroundings and it spreads someharmful diseases to the people. To avoid all such situations we are going to develop a project titled“SMART GARBAGE BIN”. In this proposed system, there are multiple dustbins located in public places.Here our main motive is to inform the administrator or any other authority who is responsible for the environment lookup of an organization. This project helps him in finding whether the garbage bin is empty or filled and if it is filled, it also has the feature to inform the concern department to clean it immediately. It also specifies the location of the garbage bin. So it is very easy to know which bin is filled or empty. Here we have 2 sensors. One for looking up the level of the garbage and other for measuring the weight of the garbage bin. Initially a threshold value is set and when the sensors reaches the threshold value, a message is sent to the authority that the garbage bin is filled or emptied at a particular location. Here the main thing is that both the sensors should meet the threshold value, then the message is sent to the respective authority. Here the information which is obtained from the sensors must be transmitted to the “mobile application” through the wireless communication medium. Then through the “mobile application” we can send a message to the concerned representative about the garbage bin and also inform them to replace it. The collected data is then used for monitoring and optimizing the daily selection of trash cans to be collected,calculating the routes accordingly.After the trashcans to be collected have been selected, route optimizationalgorithms calculate the best route to follow.

INTEGRATION OF PERSONAL HEALTH RECORDS BETWEEN MULTIPLE HOSPITALS[Full-Text ]
Deepika R, Sri Jaya Sudha E.POne of the world’s largest and fastest growing industries, consuming over 10 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) of most developed nations, and has a major impact on any country’s economy is the Healthcare Industry. The major issue that a healthcare industry comes across with is the exchange of Health Information. The major aim of interoperability is the ability of one healthcare organization task to be "visible" in another healthcare organization. Integration of the medical details of a patient into a single document is the major concern. PHR system enables the distribution of the integrated document that contains all the information of a patient over various hospitals. To delegate access rights and other search functions over their records certain privacy rules are included to the users. Since diagnosis becomes more expensive, by integrating documents in the cloud, repetition of medical tests are not required frequently. This enables the physicians and patients to obtain the details as and when required. Face recognition system is introduced in this system to enable patients and other user’s safety and privacy.

ALERT FISHERS: A LIFE SAVING Mobile Application [Full-Text ]

Balaji A Mobile Application which can save time, effort and money and life by giving tips and ways to reduce the arrest of fisher beyond boundaries that is designed and implemented. The collected information contains all the details related to countries boundary from the boundary defining department of India and Sri Lanka, and grouped them into an easy and compact application for the benefit of the each and every fisherman. This app is built using Android Studio IDE 2.2 released by the Google. This app serves as an easier way to access details and documentaries related to boundary of country at the part of Gulf of Mannar. It includes an arrest button which makes it easier for the fisher man and the court to evaluate their own courtesy and detect the placed of arrest and support their release. In addition the application has a separate section which enables the GPS usage to alert the fisher man within a fixed boundary. The ways of investing the government of India is less in the way to ensure they have an android device to support this app. It helps the people to reduce their struggle and get good returns from their investments in fisheries. It also contains the information regarding current affairs related to this issue.

Attendance system using Beacon Technology[Full-Text ]
Varshini A, Indhurekha SBeacons act as a backbone of Internet of Things. Beacons are simple devices, which determine the proximity. The beacons send simple Radio Frequency signals to determine the nearness. The attendance plays a major role in an organization. Being in a fast moving world, the traditional method is time consuming. The beacons play a major role in determining the proximity. The member ID card in the organization can embed with Beacons. These beacons can send the radio frequency signals, which can be received by the Beacon receiver. The existing system has the beacon embedded in the mobile phones. If the user doesn’t carry their mobile phones, it would serve as a major problem. But all the members carry the ID card, which is mandatory in most of the organization. When the receiver identifies the beacon, the attendance would be marked automatically. The track of the beacons can be done and the attendance can be maintained throughout. This activity can be recorded and used for further reference.

Foetal Health Monitoring System[Full-Text ]
Sneha M, Sowmya SHealth monitoring of pregnant women is essential throughout the entire course of pregnancy to ensure proper growth of foetus. In gynecology centers and hospitals some special instruments are used to monitor the health conditions of mother and foetus. In practice, hospital based monitoring system is employed where the pregnant ladies move to the concerned centre to monitor their health. It becomes complex for them to travel and wait for long hours. To overcome this issue an instrument which is used to monitor the important parameters such as ECG (Electro cardio gram), respiration rate, heart rate and rate of dehydration is designed. All the parameters can be monitored on the computer screen which is IoT(Internet of Things) enabled so that the doctor can monitor these parameters as and when the patient uses the instrument kept at her home by fixing an appointment with the doctor. This technology has a desired impact on industrial and hospital automation. The hardware of this project is built on a printed circuit board, constituting PIC micro controller 16F877A. It is a versatile micro controller with in-built features such as 10 bit multi-channel ADC, USART, synchronous serial port, programmable low Voltage detection circuit etc., which is to be interfaced to PC system through RS232C. The software can be easily modified for any alarm setting or record intervals since it is written in Visual Basic.

Haptic technology deals with the virtual environment but people can actually feel the environment before them as it is a real one. It consists of basic sensors to the complicated hardware that are hard to understand. It also has the evolution from the mid of 1980’s to till date. It was firstly used in aircrafts to control surface measures. Later on it has its own influence in many applications such as medical, military, gaming, in museum, lots of training centres.

SMARTPHONE BASED INSULIN RECOMMENDATION FOR TYPE1 DIABETES[Full-Text ]
Keerthanaa R ,Dr. K. KumarType 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM) is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. The patients suffering from type 1 diabetes requires constant pre-meal insulin dosage. The common method that is adopted to suggest insulin dosage is done only based on blood glucose level. But there exists many other factors that affect the insulin dosage such as carbohydrate intake and dosage level such as low dose, moderate dose and high dose based on physical condition of the patients suffering from T1DM. Moreover such patients have to change their long standing eating pattern.This project focuses on creating a smart phone based insulin calculator which incorporates the factors such as the blood glucose level, time of the day, carbohydrate content of the meal and the dosage types to calculate the insulin dosage. This helps the T1DM patients to easily calculate their insulin dosage using the android application installed on their smart phone. They need not change their long standing food patterns as they can adjust their insulin dosage based on the carbohydrate intake of meal.

SMARTPHONE BASED DISASTER ANALYSIS[Full-Text ]
Amuthasurabi M, Prof. S. Kumaresan,Earthquakes are measured using observations from seismometers. Intensity of shaking is measured on the modified Mercalli scale. Installing a seismometer is more expensive for a private concern, so that, only government and weather department having seismometer for measuring earthquake. A main device called as Accelerometer is present in the seismometer. Our Motivation to implement this project is, now a day’s mobile devices contain accelerometer and it calculates the shakes ratio. The mobile device will monitors for shakes, in case the wall shakes even 1 mm, the application will trigger out and send the X, Y and Z axis to the company server and the reading can be seen in the system and then buzzer will be triggered out. The company may take necessary actions at that time. This method saves many lives in a simple and economic manner. Cloud Computing is powered by data centers running in a simultaneous, cooperated and distributed manner. It delivers faster recovery times and multi-site availability at a fraction of the cost of conventional disaster recovery. Cloud computing, based on virtualization, takes a very different approach to disaster recovery. Disaster recovery as a service solutions allow to avoid the costs of purchasing the infrastructure and software needed for a secondary or tertiary disaster recovery site and to pay for the disaster recovery solution out of operating budget.

EFFECTIVE CONSUMERS VOCABULARY MAPPING TO CLINICAL TERMINOLOGY[Full-Text ]
Priyanka R,Dr. J.C.Miraclin Joyce PamilaIn this new era on the popularity of Internet has made the people to examine their health status before they knock the door of the doctors. This motivated us to propose a system, which helps the healthcare seekers by bridging the vocabulary gap between health seekers and providers. Proposed novel scheme retrieves the answers forthwith by the system using following tactics namely Local Mining and Global Learning. In local mining the posted query undergoes Natural language processing which entail of three processes Noun phrase extractor, stop word remover and Spell checker. As corollary a keyword is extracted then it is normalized into medical terminology as the result of local mining, a corpus aware terminology generated automatically normalized medical terms are indexed using Invert indexing to ensure the immediate retrieval of result. The approach of global learning is used to enhance the local mining through identifying the missing medical terms from resource PDF using lexical similarities and analyses it to derive the conclusion. In case of lagging in exact information, the query is forwarded to experts thus making our system knowledge to answer all the queries posted by health seekers, which overcome delayed cross system operability and the inter usability.

WEB APPLICATION VULNERABILITY PREDICTION USING MACHINE LEARNING[Full-Text ]
Vignesh M, Dr. K. KumarWeb applications have become one of the most important communication channels between various kinds of service providers and clients. Along with the increased importance of Web applications, the negative impact of security in such applications has grown as well. Due to the limited time and resources, web software engineers need support in identifying vulnerable code. A practical approach to predicting vulnerable code would enable them to prioritize security auditing efforts. In this proposed system hybrid (static + dynamic) program attributes are used to characterize input validation and sanitation code patterns which act as a significant indicator of web application vulnerabilities. Current vulnerable prediction techniques rely on the availability of data labeled with the vulnerability information for training. For most web application, past vulnerability data is often not available or at least not complete. Hence to address both situations where labeled past data is fully available or not fully available, this approach can be used. The web program is sliced into small sinks and by using dynamic and static program analysis, input validation and sanitation attributes are generated.

In terms of time & space, technology makes it more efficient to promote the traditional skills & ways of life. When people call in for favors due to ailment (illness) where you run out of diagnosis & you are immediately in need of medication, med-care finds a way in sorting out such problems. The asset of med-care is to make it convenient for all users without any age hindrance. There exists three zones of input- the experts can commence to diary their details with their locality, people can easily reach out to their nearby clinic with referral to the information table; people are provided with the provision of entering the tablet name & their locality. The application validates the database & enlists the nearby shops. If the user can’t route out to the pharmacy he can then contact the service provider & get the medicines delivered at their doorsteps.

SECURING MEDICAL DATA USING ROBUST AND REVERSIBLE WATERMARKING TECHNIQUE[Full-Text ]
Ms. K. Devipriya, Ms. M. Lakshmi, Ms. V. Manisha, Ms. N. Manju BharathiDatabase Security using RRW deals with securing the numerical medical datasets using watermarking techniques. The Medical databases in hospitals contain important numerical data to be protected against malicious attacks and other data discrepancies. In this project, a technique known as RRW (Robust and Reversible Watermarking) is implemented for securing the data. The Reversible watermarking technique provides protection of ownership rights, data tempering and data integrity, whereas irreversible watermarking schemes only protect ownership rights. A particular attribute is taken into account based on its role by using knowledge discovery. RRW is also evaluated through attack analysis where the watermark is detected with maximum decoding accuracy in different scenarios. The embedded watermark can subsequently be used for proving and claiming ownership of numerical medical datasets.

An Adaptive Reputation for Exploring Product Services[Full-Text ]
Kowsalya.B, Nandhini Priya.B, Rifana Karim, Dr.PrabhaWith the explosion of e-commerce, it presents a great opportunity for people to share their consumption experience in review websites. However, at the same time we face the information overloading problem. How to mine valuable information from these reviews and make an accurate recommendation is crucial for us. Traditional recommender systems (RS) consider many factors, such as product category, geographic location, user’s purchase records, and the other social network factors. In this paper, we firstly propose a social user’s reviews sentiment measurement approach and calculate each user’s sentiment score on items/services. Secondly, we consider service reputation, which reflects the customers’ comprehensive evaluation. At last, we fuse service reputation factor into our recommender system to make an accurate rating prediction, which is based on Lexicon Based Approach. We conduct a series of experiments on Amazon dataset, and experimental results show the proposed approach outperforms the existing RS approaches.

Product Recommendation in cold start situations using Microblogging Information[Full-Text ]
Rithika Golecha P, Sruthi S, Ms. S. PradeepaThe boundaries between e-commerce and social networking has become increasingly blurred. Many e-commerce websites support the mechanism of social login where users can sign on the websites using their social network identities such as Facebook or Twitter accounts. Users can also post their newly purchased products on microblogs with links to the e-commerce product web pages. In this methodology, a solution for cross-site cold-start product recommendation to recommend products from e-commerce websites to users in “cold-start” situations. A major challenge is how to leverage knowledge extracted from social networking sites for cross-site cold-start product recommendation. We propose to use the linked users across social networking sites and e-commerce websites as a bridge to map users’ social networking features to another feature representation for product recommendation. In specific, learning both users’ and products’ feature representations from data collected from e-commerce websites using recurrent neural networks and then apply a modified gradient boosting trees method to transform users’ social networking features into user embeddings and a feature-based matrix factorization approach which can leverage the learnt user embeddings for product recommendation is used.

Priority Rating of Tweets based on Current Trends of the Society[Full-Text ]

To make it possible, the people who belong to the municipal corporation are provided with an opportunity of raising a complaint regarding any issue that take place in their locality. The issues are garbage management, water supply, electricity management, road repairs or layering of roads and threatening of animals. To raise the complaints through this medium for municipal corporation regarding the above categories, a simplified solution is designed where the different type of complaints made by people are integrated. In existing system there is a lack of communication between people and government which resulted in bribery. The main purpose is to help the public who are facing different problems in the localities by this online application. Identification and solution for the complaints given by the people, rectifying them within the system generated time limit is the main concept of the project. If it is not solved, then the report is automatically forwarded to the higher authorities so that it maintains an effective problem solving solution. This system acts as the best solution for incoming bulk complaints.

An Adaptive Email access for blind people[Full-Text ]

This paper explains the design of such an interactive system for visually challenged people. Web accessibility stands as the inclusive practice of creating web based applications that can be used by people of all kind. When web applications are perfectly prototyped, implemented, and edited, all sort of users can have mutual license to information functionality also that can be facilitated without reducing the usability of the application for normal users. The very basic and important need for using the internet is accessing emails. Micro systematic applied research has been done on how a visually challenged user can have an access to his emails and this paper completely concentrates in filling a few gaps in doing that.

VOICE BASED MAIL ATTACHMENT FOR VISUALLY CHALLENGED PEOPLE[Full-Text ]

Every human being is widely accessing the knowledge and information through internet. However, blind people face difficulties in accessing these text materials, also in using any service provided through internet. The advancement in computer based accessible systems has opened up many avenues for the visually impaired across the globe in a wide way. Even though audio feedback based virtual environment like the screen readers have helped blind people to access internet applications immensely, it does not involve search of files to attach in the mail. This paper aims to develop an application to attach the files in the mail using speech recognition. It will also reduce cognitive load taken by blind to remember and type characters using keyboard. It is useful for handicapped people and also less skill is required to operate the system.

Temperature Control Using Modbus and RS485 Communication Standards[Full-Text ]
Dr.S.P.Vimal, R.D.VandanaThis paper reports developing a system which emulates a curing process chamber found in many industry settings. Based on industry utilization of bus protocols, it has been determined that the de facto standard Modbus protocol under the industry recommended standard interface RS485 is an appropriate communication method for this closed-loop control system. This paper will outline and discuss the implementation of these standards within this system and will also explain the differences between an established and De facto standard and why this is important when deciding which protocols should be implemented for a particular project.
