ARDUINO BASED LOW COST ACTIVE DUAL AXIS SOLAR TRACKER[Full-Text ]
Sapthashree, Anvitha S Acharya, Namratha N Rao, Bhagyashree, Carol D’Almeida, Ms. Sowmya BhatSun is a source of energy. Solar energy can be used abundantly using solar panel. Conversion efficiency depend on the intensity of sun light, the intensity depends on season and position of the sun. If the sun rays reach in perpendicular direc-tion, efficiency increases. So we have to tilt the panel according to the sun’s position. For that purpose solar trackers came into play. This paper presents the dual axis solar tracking system using arduino uno where the servomotors reorient the panel to get optimum power and the LDR circuit detects the suns position. The exact position of the sun is determined according to the Indian calender system. The automatic reorientation of the panel is done by the servomotor. The result is observed and the panel is monitored using android application.

Ms. Shetty Nikitha Narendra, Mr. Supreeth G Rao P, Mr. Aravinda Upadhya K, Mr. Pradeepa Kumara N, Ms. Rajashree Nambiar According to traffic accident data, the maximum of severe road accidents occurs at night vision. Driving at night with existing conventional headlamps is particularly unsafe because it does not provide illumination in the right direction on roads. Due to this constrain, paper describes the development of astute oculus headlight system an alternative technology solution to improve visibility for driver at night time on road. Headlight swings in the horizontal by sensing steering angle and vertical direction along with beam strength by sensing next vehicles headlight and tail light. So, when a person turns the steering of the vehicle the reflectors of the headlight unit turn accordingly. When our vehicle is following other vehicle, headlights will turn to low beam and only right-side headlight intensity reduces when a vehicle is approaching us from the opposite direction.

Computer vision based quality control of materials using Python[Full-Text ]
Mr.Ravitej Rao Belle, Mr.Puneeth S Kumar, Mr.Chetan RQuality control is an important process in all manufacturing industries. Normally, it includes checking the final product on sample basis and conforming whether the whole lot is suitable for dispatch or not. However, it is not a foolproof method to ensure quality as the whole lot is judged based on the basis of a few samples. There is a possibility that the samples selected conform to quality standards but many others in the lot don’t. Quality judgment depends on the expertise of the person checking the samples. The camera based system takes pictures of the product, which are analyzed after image extraction through image processing and checked against quality standards. In case of blister packing, manufactures need to check whether all the blisters have been filled with unbroken tablets.

High speed data search Content Addressable Memory using parity check bit[Full-Text ]
Sandesh Kumar, Arun Upadhyaya, Sachin Bhat, Sowmya Bhat, Vrunda Adkar.D.In all digital systems, memory acts as brain of the system. Any data such as files, audio, video and images are stored in memory in the form of binary digits such as ‘0’s and ‘1’s. Most memory devices store and retrieve data by addressing specific memory locations. Many methods are implemented to search data from memory. A memory that searches data using parallel method called content-addressable memory or CAM. Content addressable memory (CAM) is a type of solid-state memory that access the input data and performs parallel search operations and gives the address of the data. It starts a compare operation by loading search data into the search data register. This search data is then broadcast into the memory banks through pairs of complementary search-lines (SL and SLbar). The parallel comparison done with every bit of the stored words using comparison circuits. Each stored word has a matched line(ML) that convey the comparison result. Address of the matched word obtained at encoder output.
