Schools are not only one of the most socialization agents for children but also are the only places where children learn how to read and write alphabets of their mother tongues. Teachers are corner stone in the teaching and learning processes. The management of teaching and non-teaching staff requires theoretical and practical approaches. Education administrators follow theories and steps of change considering concepts and practices from different scholars and researchers to improve performance of their schools. This paper discusses the importance of improving teacher deployment and utilization, teacher preparation and teacher selection, managing and supporting teachers, attraction, retention, and motivation good teachers and how teacher policies in place are applicable to these regards.
